About Jerome C. Rose

Prior to his association with Lehr Middlebrooks in 2001, Jerome (“Jerry”) Rose served in a number of supervisory positions with the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission for over 27 years. For 22 years he served as the Regional Attorney for the Birmingham District Office of the EEOC which included all of Alabama and Mississippi.

As Regional Attorney, Jerry was responsible for managing the EEOC’s litigation program, including the review and filing of all cases on behalf of the Commission under Title VII, The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, and the Equal Pay Act. Additionally, he supervised the filing of all actions to enforce the Commission’s Administrative Subpoenas.

Between 1974 and 1979 Jerry served as a Senior Trial Attorney and Supervisory Trial Attorney in the EEOC’s Atlanta Regional Litigation Center where he acted as lead counsel or supervised class action cases on a regional basis, namely all southeastern states.
