Michael Broom is the firm's resident shareholder in the Decatur office. Upon graduation from law school, Mike served for three years as a Deputy District Attorney and Director of the White Collar Crime Unit for Montgomery County, Alabama. In addition to handling the full range of employment issues that arise in today's workplace, Mike also serves as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Hartselle, Alabama. His practice includes assisting employers in handling workers compensation claims.

Born in Hartselle, Alabama, Mike received his undergraduate degree and his law degrees from the University of Alabama. After law school, he served as a law clerk for the Alabama Supreme Court.
