BREAKING NEWS: DOL Issues Revised Model COBRA Notices

While most of the country has been tuned in to the developments with the health care reform legislation, the Department of Labor finally released its long-awaited revised model COBRA notices reflecting the extension of the COBRA subsidy to eligible terminations occurring before March 31, 2010. These new notices include the revised eligibility dates, but also disclose details of the new category of eligibility for employees who lost their group health insurance coverage following a reduction in hours.
